Coaching; a Definition

Coaching is the process of helping you to perform to the best of your abilities. It involves drawing out your strengths, helping you bypass any personal barriers in order to achieve your true potential.


Example: 1 to 1 personal coaching program


Curriculum


  • A personal one-to-one session (1-2 hours) to plan out a personal growth plan 
  • 10 Monthly personal one-to-one sessions (1 hour) to assess progress against this personal growth plan (these sessions can be aligned to any specific event or project challenge )
  • Closing session to wrap up the year and review learning experiences (1-2 hours) 


Personal Growth Plan


During the first session, the coach and the coachee will reflect together on the goals of the 12-month coaching process


The coach and the coachee will document the plan and identify the key performance measures


The coach and the coachee will begin the regular personal coaching sessions 


At the end of the 12-month period the coach and coachee will reflect on progress against the plan and note any future actions or recommendations
